NYC Emergency Structural Work

We work closely with the NYC Department of Buildings Forensic Engineering Unit (DOB FEU), building owners, insurance companies, and general contractors on emergency stabilization and weatherproofing when a fire or collapse threatens the structural integrity of a building. We design the temporary stabilization of the structure and perform on-site supervision while the repairs are taking place. Often, we then design the permanent repairs to bring the building back to life. Because of the precarious nature of these situations, a careful attention to detail and timely response is crucial.
